Why we exist
The energy transition is being built fastest in the places covered least. Multi-billion-dollar solar, storage and hydrogen projects across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America routinely reach financial close with barely a line of English-language coverage — while mature markets are reported in depth every day.
TerraWatt was founded to close that gap. We cover the whole world, and we go deepest where coverage is thinnest: the projects, the financing behind them, and the companies that build and own them.

Our editorial rules:
Every story is built on publicly available sources — company announcements, regulator and tendering-agency releases, and disclosures by public institutions.
Key facts are verified against at least two independent sources wherever possible.
Every project story carries a structured Project Fact File: capacity, developer, owner, EPC and suppliers, financing, offtake and timeline. Where information is not publicly disclosed, we say so explicitly rather than leave it vague.
We distinguish clearly between a project's developer and its owner — they are frequently not the same company, and we track ownership through to commercial operation.
Corrections are published promptly and transparently.
